How Klarite handles personal information, in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Klarite Pty Ltd (ABN 79 622 385 997) is committed to protecting the privacy of individuals whose personal information we collect. This policy explains how we handle that information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). It covers this website, klarite.com.au.
01What we collect
We collect personal information you give us directly, through one of the forms on this website or in the course of an engagement. We do not collect personal information about you from anyone else.

Server logs
Our hosting provider, Vercel, keeps standard server request logs. These can include your IP address, the page requested and your browser’s user-agent string. They are generated by the host in the ordinary course of serving the site, and we do not use them to build a profile of you.
02What we do not collect
This website sets no cookies and runs no analytics. There is no Google Analytics, no tracking pixel, no advertising tag and no visitor-measurement tool of any kind. We do not track you across other websites, and nothing on this site builds a profile of your browsing.
A previous version of this policy said we collected limited technical information such as browser type and page views through the website. That was not correct and has been removed.
03How we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, deliver services you or your organisation have engaged us for, send you the document or access you have asked for, and share updates you have opted in to receive. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
05Storage and security
This website has no database and stores nothing. Everything you submit through a form is sent to a Klarite mailbox as an email and is held there. It is not written to a customer database, a marketing list or any other store on this website.
We take reasonable steps to secure personal information and restrict access to staff who need it. We retain information only as long as required for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law.
06Overseas disclosure
Both of the providers named above are based outside Australia, in the United States, and information disclosed to them is stored or processed overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it in line with the APPs. If you would prefer not to have your information handled this way, contact us and we will arrange another way to deal with you.
07Your rights
You may request access to, or correction of, personal information we hold about you. You may also ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it. If you believe we have mishandled your information, please contact us first; if unresolved, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
